On Saturday 26th September 2009, Manchester Under 14’s took part in the National Youth Chess Association Under 14 Years Finals, held in Telford. The team did not win a prize, mainly because we entered a very young team, on average two years younger than most of the teams represented.Our best result was Georgia Guilbert of Worsley Chess club and Monton Green Primary School, who achieved three out of four points.
